Whoever said management was easy wasn't doing it right. Modern day managers have a multitude of roles they need to play to manage the bundles of hormones and emotions within their team. The fact is the roles are increasing as we recruit new generations and different skills.
One of the foundational exercises in module one of the Management Academy is for delegates to realise the roles they play as managers and the impact of each of these roles. Then to keep it alive and to assist managers they design and create an actual hat that represents these roles. This provides a visual reminder to choose the 'best fit' role for each and every given situation.
